Writing Prompt: Tears or Laughter?

Hello, writers! Earlier this month, our intrepid leader, Selena, issued the “Who Lives Here” writing prompt. We’ve been thrilled by the response.

However, it’s a new week, so its time for a new writing challenge. This one comes courtesy of our resident amazing photographer, @Kortney Thoma. If you participated in our on-hiatus series, Sunday Writing Challenge, you may be familiar with Kortney’s photo prompts.

The Challenge

Tell us a story about this photograph. Who is this woman? Is she laughing or crying? Is that frustration? Where is she and how did she get here? Who is taking the picture?

The questions are just suggestions for you to think about as you sit down to write. Tell us your story. Tell us what you see here.
