I want to make your gardening and plant learning experiences as helpful as possible. To do this, I would like to know what it is you all want to know about. Basic gardening? Herbs? TELL ME.

So, if you would m’dears, in the comment section, tell me your most burning gardening questions and desires.

When you start seedlings, sometimes they get all long and stringy (“leggy”, I’ve been told?), and some gardening books tell me to pinch them back a little, but I don’t want to take away all their leaves! I just want the little seedlings to grow, but then I don’t know how to transition them to being healthy robust adults.

Herb gardening in containers. I live 90 miles south of the California/Oregon border on the coast. Fresh herbs are so expensive to buy at the store and I’d love to be able to grow and eat my own. Also, I’d love to be able to grow some sweet peas on the garage wall where I can see them from the living room. Thanks!

Ditto on the herbs. I want to plant some in containers this summer and I’ve never done this before. Basics would be very helpful! Also, knowing more about the different varieties of veggie there are and which ones you prefer would be fun. For instance, there are so many tomato varieties, it’s hard to know which ones to buy.
