Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
I’m definitely in need of happy things. My “flu-like symptoms” which NHS 24 said would last 7-10 days are still here after 13 days and I’m rather fed up of them. That sunset picture, however, is all sorts of wonderful and loveliness.

Yes! I’m so proud to be a Canadian Kiwi today!
Last night during the vote I was at a meeting for a board I sit on with 8 other women. Only two of us are straight. The others were telling stories of 40 years ago going into dyke clubs with no windows and poorly lit for fear that someone saw you and you lost your children and job. Thank jeebus for progress.
I have watched that video countless times today.

Happy thoughts for me usually consist of books (Song of Ice and Fire at the moment), a soothing album (Lost Horizons by Lemon Jelly atm) and an open fire. Rain on the window.

…I think I’m in love.
That is bloody wonderful.
It’s raining cats and dogs right now and has been all day. So I made some almond pound cake to eat while I watch Hannibal and read. Now my all of me is warm and cozy.
