There is something about watching ’90s movies that is really, really comforting.
You know, before you had to worry about making adult decisions and when the message was just, “Do what you love!” instead of, “Do something that doesn’t kill your soul but that also pays the rent.”
My latest ’90s nostalgia trip was with 1999’s She’s All That (hello, Freddie Prinze Jr.) My friend and I still make, “Be silent, be still,” jokes. It’s on Netflix, so enjoy!

Man I used to love this movie! And Freddie Prinze Jr.! I have been bummed to rewatch those movies and realize what a bad actor he was. However, I think that scene was some of his finest work — the silent reactions to the performance piece were flawless =).
Having a 8 hour day being squeezed into three hours really takes some getting used to.
Ha! I was just talking to a friend last night about She’s All That and the trope of the nerdy girl who just needs to take her glasses off to be prom queen.
Good times.
