Lunchtime Poll: Childhood Crafts

Schools are beginning to close, and with that, there will be more kids running around with nothing to do but pester their parents. A great solution to this? Craft time!

What were your favorite childhood crafts? For parents, any crafts planned for the summer?

I hate crafts, but the girl is all about glitter and glue and making a mess. Making cards for all occasions is actually quite useful – saves a lot of money, and the kids are still small enough to get away with some really bizarre artwork ;)

I was all about making potholders when I was a kid. I don’t think Lexie’s quite coordinated enough for them yet, though. And I loved getting kits to make Christmas ornaments and “stained glass” suncatchers and all that stuff.

Lexie’s currently big on foam sticker kits, coloring, and sidewalk chalk. I need to hit the craft store to pick up some more supplies!
