LTP: A Character You Thought You’d Hate But Ended Up Loving

I was late to the Breaking Bad game, but I managed to feel some intense feelings about the show before it ended.

The best part was getting to meet, initially dislike, and then finally adore Hank Shrader. When you meet him, he’s all ego and macho swagger, calling his partner casually racist slurs, and just being kind of gross. But then, you find yourself rooting for him, as he grows into this complex character, struggling with his ego-driven pursuit of this “Heisenberg” figure, while simultaneously being full of joy and love. He realizes his own flaws, and tries to grow as a person, unlike some other characters on that show.

Seriously, how can you not LOVE this man?

Are there any characters that you initially hated, but then grew to love?

Karishma is a twenty-something living in New York City and is trying her hardest to live out every cliche about Millennials. This involves eating her feelings, drowning in debt and mocking infomercials. She likes sociology so much that she has two degrees in it, and is still warding off her parents' questions about a real career.

***Warning this will contain discussions of wolves that may or may not be teens***

When I started watching Teen Wolf, I thought I was going to *HATE* Lydia Martin. She seemed to fit the typical high school bitch trope. But she grew on me throughout the seasons and I now actively root for her, Lydia, I’m sorry I doubted you my strawberry blonde queen!
