Lunch Time Poll: Favorite Horror Protagonist and Antagonist

This one is a simple and easy poll! October is one of my favorite months, given it’s my birthday month, (the 21st, don’t forget that) and that Halloween is the holiday of the month. I love Halloween. I have always loved it. There is something to be said about being someone else. I guess it’s because I got to pretend to be a girl a few times (Pretend is not really the right word!)

I also really love scary movies and TV shows. Even the gory ones, though I like those less. My favorite horror movie is Shaun of the Dead. British people are fucking awesome. They also used one of my favorite Queen songs. I would say that Shaun is definitely my favorite horror protagonist, since a movie based on the Buffy TV series doesn’t exist. Willow would be my favorite horror/supernatural TV protagonist followed by Castiel. My favorite antagonist is probably Hannibal Lecter. There is something to be said about good manners. On TV, it’s Spike. I mean without a doubt hands down, I love the peroxide blonde vampire.

What about you fellow Unicorns? Do you love Halloween and scary movies? Do you love that you get to celebrate my birthday? (Don’t lie, I know you do!) Who are your all time favorites?

Oh wow, this is a hard one. I do love Halloween and am so looking forward to it, and I love watching horror movies, good and bad. I did enjoy Shaun of the Dead and it parodying a lot of zombie movie tropes, although I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite. Hmmmm…will be thinking on this all day.

my husband and i love watching cheesy 80s horror/sci-fi on netflix. i think we’ve honestly run out of titles to choose from on netflix at this point haha. i’m not really a fan of “torture porn” stuff like saw and hostel (though i liked the first saw since cary elwes! and it was interesting in a psychologically scary way), nor do i like straight jump-out-at-you scares.

anywaaays, i don’t really have a fave protagonist, but the leprechaun from the movies of the same name is probably my favorite horror antagonist :)
