Asher might have an adopter. But he’ll still be around for a bit because she lives in another state. She’s a family friend’s sister, and I think her dog will be a great match for Asher. She’s working on getting things in order on her end, and she’ll come down and visit her sister with her dog after the holidays. Until then, Asher will be staying with us and gradually doing more on the farm. He went on a big walk at the Sand Pit this weekend and had a great time. He even wandered out into the bushes which he normally wouldn’t do because of his feet. However, once it started to drizzle, he sat down and refused to move until my husband went and got the truck and picked us up. He’s still not a fan of weather.

On one hand, YAY I want Asher to go to his new home where he’ll be loved and cuddled forever.
On the other…I’ll miss my Asher stories.
(Obviously he should not be not-adopted just because I don’t want to not read stories about him.)
I feel the same way. Also, so proud to be part of a community of ladies who do things and don’t just talk about them. It’s an everyday kind of inspiration.
It’s so nice to see a dog able to do dog things.
Fingers crossed for Asher! :)
