It’s Monday and the struggle is real.

My Mondays are usually filled with work meetings (both online and in person), work projects, catching up with emails, and then studying. They are in a nutshell, boring. Lately to cure my Monday blues, I’ve been incorporating both meditation and a dance break. The meditation practice is an ongoing endeavor I’ve been implementing for a few weeks now but the dance break is definitely new. I couldn’t take the redundancy of my Mondays and struggling to stay focused was proving to be difficult, so the afternoon dance break has been a fun treat.
I’ll usually listen to Chromeo, Moving Units, RAC, Britney Spears, or I’ll just listen to the Beyonce radio station on Spotify and see what pops up.
What do you do to cure the Monday blues?

I go to an exercise class that’s only offered on Mondays. It’s like if Zumba and kickboxing had a baby. And then I get to eat whatever I want for dinner, which is usually healthy, but that’s largely so I can have a yummy dessert.
Fun exercise activity, healthy dinner and a yummy dessert sounds like a nicely spent Monday indeed!
Exercise and dance. Wildly, all over the place and to the same song several times. And keep my To Do list small.
Yes! Another fellow Monday dancer haha. I should take your advice and have a small to-do list. I never finish my Monday to-do lists, mostly because they’re never realistic.
