I just don’t know about this ‘Ban Bossy’ campaign. It’s the same feeling I have for Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In movement. I think… their intentions are coming from a good place, but I just don’t see the revolutionary component of eliminating the word “bossy” from my vernacular, is going to do anything for women or gender justice movements.
Ah blaargh. Famous people telling other people which words to use? Erm. Not buying it.
