A botanical garden, a.k.a. Hortus Botanicus, is always on my to-go list for holidays.
The Hortus Botanicus of Leiden, founded in 1590, making it the oldest botanical garden of the Netherlands. It has a large collection of plants native to South-east and East Asia, Southern Europe and South Africa. People study here, meet up here, get their wedding pictures here.

Oh my gosh! Gorgeous!
I love Leiden! Also a big fan of the forensic museum (the Boerhaave) with the anatomical theatre replica and wooden heads. I love that shit.
I’m such a sucker for Botanic Gardens. Lovely. (The one in Copenhagen is so beautiful. Somebody go there and take a picture!)
I volunteer!
