In honor of P-Mag’s birthday, I’m giving away two skeins of hand-dyed yarn, one each to two winners.
Behold:
The tan one is 100% wool, fingering weight, 400 yd, and dyed with coffee. The red one is 100% wool, bulky weight, 137 yd. It’s dyed with cherry Kool-Aid. These are lovely, natural fibers, that will knit (or crochet!) up into beautiful pieces.
Which one you get will be a surprise.

Happy birthday! The tan yarn would be perfect for a lacy scarf, and I don’t know what I’d make with the red one yet.
I *LOVE* the kool-aid color.
So pretty!
Happy birthday PMag! I’ll come back to you, I swear. Aaaand I would hand this yarn off to my beautifully crafty partner to make a scarf for those cold, cold MN winters.
Oh wow. Every single one of these giveaways is amazing and I WANTS. @_@
Ooh, I love them both! I so wish I could dye my own yarn, but both classes my mother-in-law took involved vast quantities of vinegar, which makes my throat close up.
It’s possible I just tried to dig my fingers into the computer screen. I just want to touch it!
So crafty!
Well happy birthday!! I’d love to make a scarf or wrap with these lovely fall colors!
