Scarf weather is rapidly approaching here in the northeast US, and I would love to contribute to your cold weather wardrobe!
The winner of this raffle will receive this scarf:

The pattern is one of my favorites. It comes from Green Gables Knits, a book of patterns inspired by the L.M. Montgomery series. The yarn is Vanna’s Choice, a 100% acrylic, worsted weight fiber.
Happy Birthday, Persephone Magazine! Good luck to those who enter the raffle!

happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
That’s the scarf I’ve wanted FOREVER!!!!! (Mostly because it’s a whitish color, which will match ALL OF MY COATS)
I love it!
Oooh oooh! Pick me!
This is beautiful! It reminds me that I want to learn to knit one of these days.
Book inspired craft? Oh YES!
Winter is coming! I neeeeeeed this! :)
That is so pretty!!!
Imma need this to warm my headholder all winter long.
That looks so soft.
You had me at Green Gables.
The book is full of beautiful patterns, I wish I had more time to make all of them! Maybe for next year’s giveaway, I’ll make something else from the book (the apron would be a big and rewarding challenge).
I’ve made this scarf two other times with fisherman’s tweed wool, which looked awesome and were warm and cozy, but such a fine yarn takes fooooorrrrreeeevvvveeeeerrrrrr to work up. I like that it’s an easy repeat and I can pick up where I left off without having to make all sorts of marks in the book.
