Autumn has arrived! Scrumptiously cooler days are here, and with them come darker evenings. And what do darker evenings mean? They mean it’s time for the season of indoor entertainment.
With that in mind, the Juniper Household is dusting off the Scrabble board that has been quietly tucked away over the summer months. The Monopoly box is being eyed up but remains thwarted in its attempts to bring discord. While the leaves tumble down outside, the chess pieces are being brought out of hibernation. This is the time to clear the decks, loving lay down a board game, and await the cat’s decision to sit down in the middle of it all.
This is how we’re spending the darker evenings. Pray tell, Persephoneers, how are you planning to keep entertained now that autumn’s here?

I’m hunkering down and relaxing as much as possible before the home. A really nasty, sticky depression episode hit, so I’m trying to build some mental reserves back up.
Books! Lots and lots of books! And usually dancing around the apartment to good music :)
Cooking! Soups, especially. And Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathons.
We’re all about holiday movies around here, especially in October.
