Sponsored: Celebrate Diabetes Awareness Month with Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Blue Bunny Ice Cream for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

October is national Diabetes Awareness Month, which is a cause near and dear to my heart. Diabetes runs in my family, and anything that might make my loved ones’ lives better is a worthy cause.

As you might remember, we did a sponsored post about the Blue Bunny® Sweet Freedom line a few months ago. To recap: It’s all delicious. Our book club bypassed the typical Long Island iced teas in favor of ice cream, so you know it’s good. I’ve eaten plenty of sugar free treats, and many of them were delicious, but if I was given a blind sample of Blue Bunny® Sweet Freedom, I would swear it wasn’t sugar free.

I took a bunch of samples to my dad, my favorite person with diabetes, and he was ecstatic. He takes excellent care of himself; he follows the diet recommendations from his doctor and nutritionist, he gets lots of exercise, and he regularly monitors his blood sugar. Having a sweet treat that doesn’t expend too many of his daily allotment of carbs is a great way to celebrate his healthy lifestyle. For as long as I can remember, ice cream has been my dad’s favorite treat. Products like Blue Bunny® Sweet Freedom line mean he can still have a cold and sweet snack, without the sugar.

If you are diabetic, or love someone who is diabetic, Blue Bunny® Sweet Freedom ice cream treats are a great way to enjoy a sweet treat while following your own plan for health.
