It’s that time of year when you may have to sit in a hot auditorium, or in a crowded stadium, or on a maze-like field to watch a loved one (or a distant relation) celebrate attaining another level of education. One thing that bonds both the graduates and the audience members together is their boundless fear over tedious graduation speeches. I had an awful undergrad commencement speaker that’s become sort of infamous at my alma mater (placentas were mentioned).
Thanks to the internet, we get to see all the speeches we wish had happened at our ceremonies. Here’s one of the best, most heartfelt speeches of 2015 from Stephen Colbert with a great Mad Max inspired ending.
