I hope all of you have your fancy hats, tea cups, scones, and Union Jacks ready – this is going to be a good wedding! Let’s get this party started, British-style. Keep in mind I am doing this Central time, so bear with me.
I’ve been on a classic movie kick lately. My most current re-watch? Charade. I love Carey Grant and Audrey Hepburn, so together they make a magical pair, and to me, even better than in Roman Holiday.
I like sharing recipes. In fact, if you knew my real name, had my cell phone number, or follow my tumblr, you would find that I live blog my meals every now and then.
Flash back musical time! I adore musicals. My mother must have had them on repeat most of my childhood. From the tame classics to Rocky Horror, nothing was off limits for musicals in our house. Let’s jump into one of my favorites, Meet Me In St. Louis.
So I went and saw Sucker Punch; chances are that some of you all did as well. Let’s discuss. Spoilers after the cut.
Sucker Punch is coming out tomorrow. I, for one, am not missing it. This movie has intrigued me more than any other lately, for reasons including the interesting graphics, animation, and choice of actors, and the “female lead” aspect in a Warner Brothers production. Let’s get the run-down before we see, it shall we?
This week’s talented photographer comes from the great state of Texas. Meet Cynthia Davila, otherwise known as Cyn Photography. Let’s check her out!
Hey guys, I have been a tad busy and unable to get my usual column in, due in part to my family “surprise” visiting me. Let me tell you all, it does not help to “surprise” visit a graduate student. Nope, I am a tad bit annoyed, but I love them, so I deal.

I know that this movie came out a long time ago, but as I was unable to see a movie this weekend due to a midterm from hell, I thought I would take the time to write about one of my all time favorite movies. It is also coincidentally the movie where part of my […]
Mother/daughter relationships, the stuff of legend. This week’s movie of choice is Because I Said So, the mantra of mothers everywhere. Also because I love Mandy Moore as an actress; so let’s begin shall we.
Following the theme that Ginger Gal set up this week, this movie review is of Blue Valentine. The movie was an amazing and stunning emotional rollercoaster. Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams provided performances that should be admired and credited. So let’s get started.
Hey guys, it’s that time of the year again, when we get to relax and watch the Grammys! Yay! So pull up your couch, get this party started, and hope there aren’t anymore disastrous performances like Taylor Swift’s cover of “Rhiannon”! Snacks are sure to be at hand and keep the wine bottle near. It […]

Ok so I see a lot of movies, I love them, but putting it simpler, there isn’t much to do in the town that I live in. So my friends and I go a lot. There are a bit of spoilers ahead, though I am trying to be as general as possible to not give […]
