Eczema sucks. It itches. It burns. It sets my entire body on a stressful edge. The most popular treatment by my dermatologist is to use steroid cream. When that didn’t work, she upped the level of steroids in the cream. But now I am pregnant. And steroids are a no-no. I have scratched my foot […]
My first two pregnancies were wonderful. Well, maybe not wonderful. In fact, they were really tough. But I think I looked at life back then through rose-colored glasses. I went through everything for the sake of my children–thus it was worth it. For some reason, this time, those glasses have slipped off.
For the final episode, Maki, Abby, and Katie hand in their six strips, T-shirt designs, and three character bios. Some go a bit further.
Well, cats and kittens, we have our final three and move on to the finale. There have been some surprises, shockers, and some expected turns. But I love the fact this show is not on television and is true to the creators’ design–so fun! As noted before, they totally make fun of those other shows.
Being pregnant at my age, a couple years from 40, was not my plan. When I was young and idealistic, I mapped out my life. I wanted a degree, husband, and children, a girl and a boy, all before 30. Umm…my life didn’t read the plan.
The Challenge: Oh my goodness, did anyone else yell, “Where are you going?” The teams were pre-decided. Katie and Abby were paired up and Maki and Lexxy were a team. Each team had to find Seattle landmarks and sketch them. Abby and Katie mapped out their route before starting – see where this is going?
The Challenge: The social challenge this episode was all about speed.
So Strip Search is an awesome online reality game show that takes place in gorgeous Seattle, Washington. The contestants are artists striving to win a year’s office space at Penny Arcade. This show is even giving me delusions of grandeur–not that the artists competing in the show aren’t amazing–but I think, hey maybe I could […]
If you haven’t hard of it before, Strip Search (punny!) is an online show from Penny Arcade that searches for America’s next top web cartoonist. Let’s see what artists the Internet has for us today!
Strip Search has been going on for a while. It just took me a bit to write about it. So let’s catch up.
This is it! The Season 11 finale! Michelle, Stanley, and Patricia are headed to NY Fashion Week. Let’s raise a glass to challenges past and fallen contestants (except Richard) as we watch the final three do what they do one more time. I have been truly blessed to share this season’s PR recaps with you, […]
So begins our final trip down the runway. Today’s episode is about the designers’ homes and a glimpse of their lines, and we get to visit with Tim. When the designers return for Fashion Week, only three will get to show.
Do or die, one last chance. All the designers point out that it is a roller coaster. Welcome to Project Runway. Don’t forget the season they brought people back, or the year that too many people dropped out and they didn’t eliminate someone one time.
We have our top five! And they have to report to the runway right away, as Heidi and Tim point out the designers meet with them to get restructured. So they are being restructured.
1989 was a year full of everything. Great music, great movies, and world changing events!
