There is nothing I love more than music. It is for this reason that I love debating end-of-the-year best album lists. Music is subjective, even among friends who share similar tastes. I ran some of these names by some of my closest friends, and a few gave me the stink eye.
While researching my last column, I realized that a lot of second-to-last tracks were amazing. Like the final track edition, some of my favorites, like “Putting the Damage On” have already been used in some of my previous columns.
This list is inspired by KEXP’s morning radio host. He did two days’ worth of closing tracks from albums, and a lot of them were awesome. Unfortunately, I have already blown through a few last tracks on a few of my other lists. Both “Hurt” and “Street Spirit (Fade Out)” are final tracks.
