We hope that everyone who celebrated Mother’s Day had a wonderful day! In their honor we start this week’s news with some stories about remarkable women.
It is a peak time to be a Marvel fan right now. Avengers: Age of Ultron is coming close to finally opening. Agent Carter was an awesome miniseries, and Daredevil is blowing up social media. I figured I would countdown all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe properties, including both the television and movie properties. However, this list only includes […]
Well, that was a great way to end the first season. Holy cow. Everything that happened in this episode was definitely telegraphed in all the preceding episodes. I appreciated this finale because it gave me all the feels. Seriously, this show needs to stop pulling on my heart strings; they were already so thin from the Parks and Recreation […]
The penultimate episode of Agent Carter was outstanding. The writers have been building a great series and it all came to a head in episode 7. Peggy vs SSR, SSR vs. Leviathan, Dottie vs. America — all of our favorite matchups were there.
Agent Carter came roaring back into our living rooms and onto our computer screens this week. Following last week’s jam-packed episode of character exploration, Peggy’s work finally catches up to her.
Lots of things to cover, so let’s just get right to it!
Our lovely Agent Carter returned to our screens tonight, bringing a few familiar faces with her. The Howling Commandos last seen in Captain America: The First Avenger, returned to help Agent Carter this week.
I cannot believe we are already halfway through the first season of Agent Carter. I really like the miniseries or British TV series feel of only doing eight-episode seasons. It keeps the characters fresh without bogging them down in repetitive monster-of-the-week episodes. A lot of major television shows could benefit from doing 13-episode seasons instead of […]
Continuing the fast pace of last week’s two-hour premiere, Agent Carter continues to kick ass, take names, and look fucking gorgeous.
HOLY.CRAP. Agent Carter is amazing. In some ways, it’s exactly the feminist Marvel story we’ve been craving. Firstly, Peggy actually talks to women about things other than boys. I realize this is a low bar to set, but there’s also a lot of her showing up the men by kicking more butt than any of them.
