This week, I had a lot of feelings about the busy week in news. Let’s get to it.
Happy Friday, everyone. Is it Springtime where you are yet? I hope so. This week’s newsy roundup has a lot of political stories, but we’ll end with good news. Let’s get started:
It’s been a banner week at the Washington Post; they’ve earned top billing this week for publishing George Will’s latest inanity (though the New York Post has equal blame for that one) and an article that used completely irrelevant data to victim-blame single moms who are abused. Hallelujah, I’ve got some good news to balance out the bad this week. Given how patently absurd some of the bad is, I think we’ll all need it! (As usual, trigger warnings for pretty much everything apply.)
Dudes were so disappointed in us ladies this week. Here we are, getting our boobs removed, posing in all our regular-lady glory, and being on the Internet. Heaven forbid!
If there was ever a week to remember not to read the comments, it was this week. So much concern for Angelina Jolie’s boobs! And did you know feminism is to blame for gonorrhea and cheating husbands, while also being over? Neither did I! (Trigger warnings for the usual suspects apply.)
Kittens and caboodles, welcome back to another round of the mid-week news, where we relish in the current events, cringe at headlines and the state of humanity, and jump all over what’s happening in our dear world. Will we make it through this week with a forced smile on our faces?
All the news that’s fit to be pissed about! Right here for your reading pleasure.
