Over the past week, there’s been quite a bit of coverage of Caitlyn Jenner, so we’ve found a few posts you can use to refute the ignorant haters. We’ve also got lots of good reads about feminism and other social justice topics, pop culture, a bit of science (with an unfortunate side of sexism), and some […]
Come on in for some fun, feminism, and science (with a side of misandry)!
If you need a reason to eat ALL the cheese, then this is the Friday News Bites for you. Let’s get started:
It is a peak time to be a Marvel fan right now. Avengers: Age of Ultron is coming close to finally opening. Agent Carter was an awesome miniseries, and Daredevil is blowing up social media. I figured I would countdown all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe properties, including both the television and movie properties. However, this list only includes […]
Our lovely Agent Carter returned to our screens tonight, bringing a few familiar faces with her. The Howling Commandos last seen in Captain America: The First Avenger, returned to help Agent Carter this week.

So much misogyny, so little time! We’ve got misogyny in every corner of the globe, more sexism at the Olympics, terrible dating advice, and so much more! (As usual, trigger warnings for pretty much everything apply.)
I can’t promise this is going to be what we call a “critical review.” None of us are here for a critical review, anyway. You’re here because, whether or not you know it yet, Avengers Assemble! is SO FUCKING AWESOME and everyone should see it. I’ve seen it twice already and I’m going again next week. […]

I am not a big fan of spiders. I wouldn’t say that I am jump-on-a-chair scared of them, but I think they’re pretty creepy. If I see one in my living room, and I can’t catch it, I will spend the rest of the evening thinking that it’s crawling on my shoulder.
