Hello, Persephoneers! I’ve just returned from a wonderful vacation in Burbank, California. Needless to say, I made a stop at Grauman’s Chinese Theater, and I have some pictures of classic stars’ signatures in the cement in front of the theater to share.
I’ll admit: it’s been a long week. My brain is fried, my allergies are killing me, and all I want to do is veg out. What’s the perfect movie for this? “My Favorite Brunette,” made in 1947, starring Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Peter Lorre, and Lon Chaney, Jr.
Happy early Friday! I don’t know about you, but I’ve had a very long week, so it’s time to kick off your shoes order some takeout, pour yourself a glass of your beverage of choice, and get set for my weekly classic movie pick.
