Persephoneers! Thank you so much for participating in The Big Cheese! Brackets are pointless when there’s no passion involved in jockeying for supremacy, and I was pleased to see you engaging (even if I had to goad you on occasion!).

Here it is, the culmination of our cheesy obsessions!
Passionate participation–that’s more like it!
Holy moly! We’re in the Final Fromage! If you haven’t been keeping up with the bracket, the four division winners are Cheddar, Mozzarella, Chèvre, and Parmigiano.
Hello, my intrepid Persephoneers! Without further ado, let’s round off the Elite Eight!
No surprises for Day 11–a veritable tidal wave swept Cheddar into the Final Fromage, while Feta handily topped its Wild Card competition.
Welcome back to the Big Cheese Bracket! We’re now entering the semifinals, the Elite Eight. The “specialty” cheeses have largely fallen by the wayside, as have the lesser standards; the powerhouses remain in the running, spiced up with a few underdogs and wild cards.
Phew! Cheese battles are tiring! We’ll round off the week with a *slight* reprieve: only one Wild Card match-up plus a game. (Yeah, I’m gonna teach you a cheese-related game.)
We’re getting closer, and our path is becoming more and more treacherous, littered with the discarded rinds of defeated curds.
