Good Monday, Persephoneers! I sincerely hope that this week is off to a good start. Yesterday, thanks to the Internet (and more specifically, a giveaway promotion), my family experienced the opera for the first time.
Many friends and family member spent their weekend preparing for Hurricane Sandy. Here in the Midwest, we experienced a cool down, but we don’t expect any severe weather. A tsunami warning was issued in Hawaii, and there was an earthquake in Canada, too.
I know, I know, a lot of you weren’t even conceived in 1987, but please bear with me. Even if you weren’t around then, you surely have been left home alone at some point.
Bishop and Aidan finally face off as the family tries to stay together. Get out the Kleenex, kids.
Finally, an episode about River! Up until now River has been like a weird little sprite who wanders on set every once in a while to do something strange and then wanders off again. In “Safe” she finally gets some more screen time and even a little backstory. I do love a good backstory.
