Okay, perhaps I engage in a smidge of hyperbole when I say that I cannot live without these apps. Surely, I would somehow pick up the pieces of my life and go on if I no longer had access to my iPhone. But, they have made my life a lot easier.
Some things are just unavoidable.
After a wonderful night at the ballet last week, on the way home, I had a disheartening realization: I didn’t have my phone. And I was pretty sure I left it in the bathroom in the War Memorial Opera House”¦an hour away.
Women startup founders were representing during last week’s Launch Festival 2013, held in San Francisco.
After years of just saying no, I have finally entered the world of iPhone users.

Be still my beating heart. I found an app that was designed by a woman, involves destroying an oppressive misogynistic cult and the icing on the cake, killing motherf’ing zombies. If P-Mag gave out Golden Ovary awards, the very first one would go to Sarah Northway, creator of Rebuild.
I have a full-time job, I pursue my own writing projects, and I make some quilts. Nonetheless, I kill a lot of time. I rarely cook. I don’t exercise regularly. I don’t have much of a social life, unless you count the Internet, which I sort of do. The house is usually a mess. Sometimes […]

To get you started, I found a lovely photostream on Flickr with a photographer showing off the iPhone Instagram […]
We here at Sally J headquarters love technology. Mr. Sally J and I tote laptops to Thanksgiving dinner. Our kids navigate our iPhones better than some adults. I don’t know how we got this way, but somehow we did. So of course it was only a matter of time until we got an iPad.
Like most people, I didn’t know I needed a smart phone until I got one. Within twenty minutes of owning one, I knew my life would never be the same. “Oh? There’s an email on that? Let me see..” BAM! Read it on my Smart Phone “You need that phone number? I’ll Google it for […]
