A lot of bombs are dropped in this episode of Scandal, but let’s start with the actual bomb. In this episode, everybody races against the clock to prevent Fitz from getting blowed up real good.
After last week’s ick-fest, I’d like to say that this Scandal doesn’t get down and dirty. Boy would I like to say that. But I can’t.
Oh, Olivia. Liv, Liv, Liv. How the mighty have fallen. Somehow, you have gone from brilliant campaign advisor with everything in control to the president’s shrieking mistress.
After the gory, over-the-top dramatics of last week, I was bracing myself for more of the same. Instead I got an episode that was really quite underwhelming, although it served to solidify a few next steps.
Wow, after last week, can this episode keep up the drama and the breakneck pace? Yes and no. Some of the developments were easy to predict, but they still moved things along and allowed me many opportunities to talk to my television.
