Flashback Monday OT: NYE 1988

It’s my first OT of 2012. Where does the time go? I’ve always liked hanging out with friends on New Year’s Eve–not (usually) anything too over the top, but a fun night spent with friends looking back and looking ahead is how I like to spend the last day of any year.

My New Year’s Resolution is to Stop Being So Introspective, Which May Prevent Me From Making Future Resolutions

I’m a pretty introspective person in general, but the end of the year amplified it. Between the year-end lists that chronicle every aspect of life, both personal and cultural (movies, books, photojournalism, our own tumblr posts, trips, events, songs, outfits, celebrity break-ups), and the forced reflection turned to resolutions, I am all introspected out.
