Weekly Anime Review

The fall season is almost done. Just a few episode left for most shows unless they get a full season (Gundam does, yeah!). Fafner Exodus had another great episode, definitively anime of the year for me. Heavy Object added more exposition for the setting. K is getting closer to a conclusion, while Owari no Seraph […]

Weekly Anime Review

No Heavy Object this week. But there was more awesome Fafner and Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans this week to compensate and the Gundam did really have a fight in it. Owari no Seraph was its usual “Yu is stupid” episode; those are getting old but I doubt it’s going to change.

Thing are getting exciting, well at least in Fafner Exodus and Iron-Blooded Orphans. Owari no Seraph, Heavy Object and K: Return of Kings are more traditional show that still don’t seem to know where they are going.

Weekly Anime Review

I need more Fafner in my existence. It is such a great mix of awesome mecha animation and despair. The new Gundam might be following in the same steps, too. K: Return of Kings is taking it slow with its plot, while the second episode wasn’t boring, it lacked substance. Owari no Seraph had a bunch […]

Weekly Anime Review

Season is almost over, most shows only have one more episode to go. This means most of this week’s episodes were action-packed and next week will be wrap up episodes. That is, if they have the time to wrap up their plots.

Weekly Anime Review

July is in two weeks, and that means some shows are already ending. Ghost in the Shell: Arise had its last episode this week. Kekkai Sensen had a recap episode. The rest, aside from Arslan Senki, have one more episode to go.

Action, action everywhere this week (outside of Fate/Stay Night, which had a setup episode for the final).

Weekly Anime Review

The spring season is almost over, with just a few episodes left. It also means lots of action for most shows, except Knight Of Sidonia which seems to be filling time before facing the large cluster.

Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, Ep 20 Well, Rin didn’t need Saber finally. Lancer was faking being dead, he didn’t hit himself so he would die right away. That gave him the time to stab Kirei to death and save Rin. He also punctured Shinji. I wish he killed him, what a creep.

Weekly Anime Review

Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works ep 19 There was a lot of talking this episode. It was all about Archer’s background and him being Shirou’s wrapped ideal. There was also a bit of Lancer, Rin, Shinji and Kirei. Yep, the fake-priest showed his face, finally.

Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Bladework ep 18 Gilgamesh speaks “English”? He must have taken courses over the last ten years.

Weekly Anime Review

Lots of sadness this week, a character I liked died. Lots of smiles this week, funny things also happened. I guess they balance each other. I haven’t dropped anything yet either. There was also action, so I was entertained.

Weekly Anime Review

Things are moving along this week. Knights of Sidonia‘s opening song is growing on me. Fate/Stay Night had 20 minutes of battle and it didn’t feel boring. Ghost in the Shell was less “what the hell is going on.” Kekkai Sensen and Owari no Seraph are close to be being dropped, but Arslan Senki is going […]

Weekly Anime Review

So, second week of the new season and I got to watch the first episode of Knights of Sidonia, and it was awesome. Fate/Stay Night and Arisa had their moments, too, and Arslan Senki was much better as well. Only Kekkei Sensen and Owari no Seraph were so-so; they get one more episode to wow me […]
