After a season full of surprises and heartbreak, Parenthood ends season five with the same theme. Haddie comes home from college with great hair and a girlfriend, Anna Beth Gish makes an appearance as Ryan’s domineering mother, and Joel and Julia hold hands. Oh Parenthood. I don’t even know where to start.
This week, with only one more episode to go for this fifth season of Parenthood, the script is a bit less Julia-centric. We get to see the charter school move forward, Amber and Drew get pulled back into past loves, and Sarah considers her relationship with Hank. Crosby gets his crew back home, with more […]
This week Drew gets his head back in the college game, Hank gets more insight from Dr. Pelikan, Julia gets her groove back, and Zeek finds the stage for Camille’s act three.
This week, all kinds of things happened in the Braverman clan: there were road trips, cousins babysitting cousins, and Kristina telling off a school administrator. Let’s dig in, shall we?
I had high hopes for episode 18 of Parenthood, especially about Joel and Julia’s storyline. It turns out, not too much happened there, but everyone else had plots that moved right along.
This week’s episode is all about Crosby’s bundle of joy, Aida, and her upcoming baptism. The show opens with Crosby and Jasmine discussing the upcoming ceremony with Jasmine’s mom. While Grandma wants to save Aida’s soul, Crosby just wants to save Jasmine from more stress while they are staying with his parents.
This week Julia does some soul-searching, Sarah refocuses on “the year of Sarah” and Kristina gets the news she’s been hoping for from her oncologist. Drew and Amber hit a fraternity party (what? what?), and Camille puts Crosby in his place.
Parenthood has returned from its Olympic hiatus, and presented just the kind of episode I love. It covered just about every storyline, and there were great scenes where most of the cast was together. The Braverman siblings shared a moment, and the grandkids are learning to lean on each other too.
Parenthood fans knew what the main focus of “You’ve Got Mold” as they sat down to watch it this week. While the comic relief of Crosby’s homeowner problem was welcome, it did nothing to relieve the sinking feeling I felt every time Julia was on screen. Just as Camille and Zeek start to get back […]
Tonight, the fifth season of Parenthood on NBC throws everything up in air, from Camille’s dreams to Julia and Joel’s marriage. Even Drew’s roommate thinks things are getting weird.
A few hours before Thursday’s episode aired, a tweet went out warning viewers they’d be moved to tears at some point. The Twitter account was not wrong. This was one heavy episode.
The first Parenthood of 2014 introduced some new plot lines and continue the train wreck that is currently Julia and Joel. We also got to see Crosby at a school fundraiser, which was definitely worth the price of admission. Zeek makes a friend, and Camille decides to extend her trip. Will she ever return?
After a short break, we find the Bravermans right where we left them, in the wake of Kristina’s loss of the mayoral election. We actually find Kristina and Adam in the kitchen, on election night, eating what would have been her victory cake. They invite Max to join in, and soon all of the stress […]
The tension of Election Day is vibrating through the Braverman family this week, though not everyone is running for mayor. Amber and Ryan are on edge, Julia and Joel may have gone over the edge, and Crosby’s dirty little secret comes out.
The week we find the Bravermans pulled in all kinds of directions. The election, Victor’s performance in school, Camille’s absence and more are explored.
