The Porn of the Matter
Q. I have a blog on Tumblr and recently came across some very obscene material that was posted on a blog I had followed. I was shocked that this stuff was allowed. I searched further and quickly found gobs of pornographic sites. Again, I was shocked. Nobody is filtering this stuff or warning us about it.
Oh dear. There is just so much wrong with the world this week. A little bit of good news, but a lot more that’s positively rage-inducing. At least there’s an awesome Stephen Colbert smackdown! (As usual, trigger warnings for pretty much everything apply.)
After all, most state legislatures and Congress are on holiday, so they aren’t writing laws about my uterus this week. Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of other misogyny in the news! (Trigger warnings apply for just about everything.)
There are better ways to push for reproductive freedom without appropriation and wasting money.
