Weekly Anime Review

Getting closer and closer to the end of the season. The winter season seems boring too, except for Aldnoah Part 2.  I probably should focus on the shows I still watch, though. So Argevollen had a story twist, I didn’t really expect that one coming. Sword Art Online was a straight gaming moment. Shingeki is […]

Weekly Anime Review

Psycho-Pass and Shin Sekai Yori have come to an end. The last episode of each show was quite nice and wrapped up the story nicely. They also didn’t bring any changes, but did leave it at, “Let’s hope for changes.” These two shows had a lot of things in common in the end. Chihayafuru is […]

Weekly Anime Review

We are getting closer to the finals! Well, for Psycho-Pass and Shin Sekai Yori, anyway. Chihayafuru will continue in the spring season. I already checked out the spring shows though, and there doesn’t seem to be anything special aside from one or two of them. Anyway, for an almost-last episode, Psycho-Pass was full of tension, […]

Weekly Anime Review

Psycho-Pass and Shin Sekai Yori are coming closer to their conclusions. The remaining episodes are going to be intense.  Chihayafuru continues the Nationals competition, but is focused mostly on Arata this time. Most of the episode was a flashback to when he was a kiddo with Chihaya and Taichi.

Weekly Anime Update

Psycho-Pass and Shin Sekai Yori are both walking toward their conclusions by ramping up the intensity. Chihayafuru starts the National competition storyline. The first match was fun and I hope they win many more. We have about one month left before the Spring anime season starts, which mean I will have to find new things […]

Weekly Anime Review

Psycho-Pass shows us the secret of Sibyl System, and it’s creepy. Shin Sekai Yori continues toward its finale at a steady pace, and the Chihayafuru episode was the most fun Chihaya ever had in a karuta competition. A good week, all in all, although there was a lot of exposition in all three shows. But […]

Weekly Anime Review

We should call this suspense week. Psycho-Pass brings us full circle with the very first episode of the series, with a manhunt inside a building. Shin Sekai Yori has a horror episode, with all the classic elements. Finally, Chihayafuru brings us the Tokyo school final, and we still don’t know who won.

Weekly Anime Review

It’s an entertaining week once again. Psycho-Pass has already moved into its last stretch, quite early I would say, but I guess it will mean no rushed ending. Yeah! Chihayafuru graces us with a Taichi-centric episode, which is great since those are always good. Finally, Shin Sekai Yori advances the “evil” monster rat plot with […]

Weekly Anime Review

I decided to only keep Chihayafuru S2, Psycho-Pass, and Shin Sekai Yori. This means no more Hakkenden or Amnesia. After three episodes, they just got boring and my free time got shorter. Chihayafuru is picking up and is as awesome as ever. Psycho-Pass has its “break the system” episode and does it in a quite […]

Weekly Anime Review

Shin Sekai Yori, Psycho-Pass, and Chihayafuru are as awesome as ever. Hakkeden and Amnesia are still interesting enough for me to continue watching them, but I dropped the Edo Robin Hood show. Comedy isn’t my thing. I need good character interactions and a plot to like a show.

Weekly Anime Review

Finally, the winter season has started. Lucky for me that Shin Sekai Yori and Psycho-Pass continue on, because there wasn’t anything that interesting beside Chihayafuru Season 2. I still picked some new shows, most of which I don’t expect to watch for long, though. So we have Amnesia, a romance anime based on a visual […]

Weekly Anime Review

K and Jormungand are leaving us now. Both showed their final episode. The good news is that K will have a sequel (not sure when it will be aired though, probably next fall). Jormungand had a totally open ending. Not that I mind; I didn’t watch that show for how it would end, but for […]

Weekly Anime Review

One more week before the end of the fall season. Anime runs all the time; I think the only time when they are “off” is when there’s a special sports event and in the Gold Week of March. Anyhow. Sword Art Online ended with a final episode. Not much to say here, happy ending and […]

Weekly Anime Preview

We are coming closer to the end of the Fall season. I haven’t found a lot of interesting new shows for winter. At least, Chihayafuru‘s second season is coming, yes for more crazy memory card game. All the other shows seem to be fan service, though. Beside this, Sword Art Online is almost over, one […]

Weekly Anime Review

Not many episodes left until the fall season is over. Shin Sekai Yori and Psycho-pass will continue for the winter season, so I don’t expect that much for the next two episodes. But K is ending and this episode was full build-up for the finale (which is going to be rushed in a way). I’m not […]
