This week’s episodes are a bit strange. No, they don’t turn away from the plot or anything, it’s just that Psycho-Pass has dreadful quality and Shin Sekai Yori went all hard rock on us with the music. Chihayafuru had a funny breather episode as well. Although, beside all that weirdness, the plots all moved forward.
Psycho-Pass shows us the secret of Sibyl System, and it’s creepy. Shin Sekai Yori continues toward its finale at a steady pace, and the Chihayafuru episode was the most fun Chihaya ever had in a karuta competition. We should call this suspense week. Psycho-Pass brings us full circle with the very first episode of the series, with a manhunt inside a building. Shin Sekai Yori has a horror episode, with all the classic elements. Finally, Chihayafuru brings us the Tokyo school final, and we still don’t know who won.
It’s an entertaining week once again. Psycho-Pass has already moved into its last stretch, quite early I would say, but I guess it will mean no rushed ending. Yeah! Shin Sekai Yori, Psycho-Pass, and Chihayafuru are as awesome as ever. Hakkeden and Amnesia are still interesting enough for me to continue watching them, but I dropped the Edo Robin Hood show. Comedy isn’t my thing. I need good character interactions and a plot to like a show.
